Brrr… it’s a rather chilly day here in the Cotswolds, and with the Met Office predicting snow and ice over the next couple of days, I’m willing it to hold off until after the weekend. That’s becuase I’m co-ordinating a wedding at the stunning Hatherop Castle School near Cirencester.
Whilst a snowy scene WOULD look rather romantic, it will be less appreciated if guests can’t make it there safely. So keep everything crossed for a clear day!
The school is in use by lots of lovely children for most of the year, but it does hire out the main rooms for weddings and events on request. The wedding this weekend will be making use of the gorgeous little church on site, with a rustic 12 days of Christmas theme, and lanterns and candles in every corner.
Among the couples own props that have been gathered throughout the year, local supplier Oasis Events will also be providing an array of Moroccan and hanging lanterns to line the way between the church and the main school.
I’m looking forward to the mulled wine reception, sparkler confetti moment, and general heart warming love on a cold winters day.
Hopefully I can share some of the photo’s with you shortly afterwards too!
Hope you’re all looking forward to a lovely Christmas break.
