I’ve been mentioning this couple for a while now, not least because they are absolutely lovely, but also because they have been planning an A.W.E.S.O.M.E. wedding at The Matara Centre in Kingscote. The main event took place on Easter Sunday where I was styling in the morning and back in the afternoon to turn the main room from ceremony one set up (yup, they had TWO wedding ceremonies with TWO wedding dresses) into a gorgeous dining experience in the evening all twinkling with tea lights.
I first met Fiona & Kesh at a styling day I did at Matara last year (you can check out the pictures here), and when they told me what they were planning for their 2012 wedding I was more than a little excited. I’m not giving away too much as you’ll appreciate a full blog post with inspiring images once the talented Mr Ward from Bigeye Photography has finished editing them – there were thousands of incredible photo’s taken on the day, so I don’t envy his job! – but in the words of will.i.am on The Voice… their wedding was DOPE.
So to wet your wedding taste buds, I have some images from their engagement shoot to share with you in advance. Marcus did a fabulous job of really capturing their personalities, he never lets a grey sky or spot of rain get in the way of a good picture!
One image stood out as my favourite… for no other reason than because it shows a couple who are completely and totally in love with each other. Heck, even their heads touch together to form the shape of a heart!
Now brace yourselves for the full wedding shortly… keep an eye out, you don’t want to miss it!
